Snaptik is a fetching tool, not a library. It takes a link you paste, asks the platform for the file that link already points to, and hands that file back to you as a clean MP4 or MP3.
When you open a public TikTok video in your browser, the platform is already sending a video file to your device so it can play. Snaptik does the same thing on your behalf: it requests that publicly available file, converts it into a standard format, and passes it straight to you. Nothing more is added, and nothing is kept.
That distinction matters. Snaptik does not host, mirror or republish anyone's videos on the site. There is no Snaptik video library, no searchable catalogue of other people's work, and no copy of a creator's video sitting on our servers waiting to be browsed. What you get is the file you asked for, in the format you asked for, and then the transaction is over.
Because Snaptik only reaches public files, it cannot and will not pull down private, followers-only or otherwise restricted content. If a video is not already being served to a normal browser, it is not something this tool can fetch.
Saving a video for yourself and putting a video back out into the world are two very different acts. One is quiet. The other has a creator on the other end of it.
Downloading a clip so you can watch it offline on a flight, keep it in a folder for reference, study how an edit was cut, or show a friend on your own screen is the everyday use Snaptik was built for. Nothing is re-published, nobody's work is passed off as anyone else's, and the creator's original post stays exactly where it is.
Keep it on your device, keep it to yourself, and you are using the tool the way it is meant to be used.
Re-uploading someone else's video to your own account, cutting it into your own edit, running it in an advertisement, or putting it behind a paywall or a brand deal without a licence from the creator is not personal use. It is someone else's work earning attention or money for you.
Deleting the watermark does not change who made the video. It only makes the origin harder to find.
If you want to repost, the rule is short: message the creator first, explain what you want to do with the clip, and wait for a yes. If they say yes, credit them by their @handle in the caption or on screen, and keep the credit visible for as long as the video is up. If they say no, or they do not reply, do not post it.
A credit is not a substitute for permission. Both are needed, and permission comes first.
If you made a video and you do not want it saved through Snaptik, you do not have to argue with us about it. Tell us, and we will look at it.
Snaptik does not host, mirror or republish anybody's videos. We do not have a library of other people's work sitting on our servers. What we do is hand your browser a file that the platform was already serving — so a request aimed at us is really a request about a link, not about a copy we are keeping.
That said, we take objections seriously. If you are a creator or a rights holder and you believe Snaptik is being used in a way that infringes your work, write to us through the Contact & Support page with the link in question and a short note about what is yours. We will review it promptly.

Pasted links are used only to retrieve the video or audio you asked for — they are not stored to build a profile of you, and there is nothing here that follows you around the web afterwards.
